Evening vibes on and off board in the Budapest nightlife
A holiday without music is something you shouldn’t try first in Budapest. The Hungarians know exactly what’s necessary to maintain the tempting Budapest nightlife, so you won’t be disappointed by the music bars and venues, nor by the choices of artists. The inner city offers Akvárium Klub, a little bit outer of the circle you’d find Budapest Park which is also a representative place of the Budapest nightlife.
The greatest gigs take place during the summer: the most popular is Sziget Festival, where you’d see the most looked-for artists and bands from all over the world. If you’re more into one night-programs, a concert on the ship A38 is the perfect choice. Whether on Hajógyári Sziget or in a ship ont he Danube, you’ll find what you like, since music is an essential component of the Budapest nightlife.
Cool off in luxurious baths
Budapest could be sometimes mistaken for a Mediterranean metropolis: from late Spring until the end of September, the weather is relatively hot in the capital. It’s no wonder that many locals visit plages and baths during this time of the year! The otherwise quite loud Budapest nightlife have its rather calm spots here: the chilling atmosphere is guaranteed!
Even if you’re more into thermal baths, you’ll find your spot among the numerous places available in this beautiful city. We suggest night bathing and night beach parties since they’re extremely entertaining and literally, cool, on a hot summer night! Look for Aqua World Resort and their special nighttime parties.
Dance away the night!
For those who go crazy for dancefloors, we have good news: the Budapest nightlife is also notorious of fancy coctails, glitters and high heels! You’ll find a great range of pubs and ruin bars along the tram line 4 or 6, but there are great chances to find your way into a disco as well.
Among the locals’ favourites are Instant, Dürer Kert and Ankert – they’re not typical discoes, but they have music that make dance for sure. If you want to shine more, head to Hellobabybar or the evergreen Morrison’s – latter is one of the most famous spot of the Budapest nightlife.
