Full description
This half-day private tour takes you to the enchanting town of Szentendre on the Danube Bend. Located just 20 minutes north of Budapest you will drive by air-conditioned vehicle to the artistic enclave and have time to stroll along the Baroque streets.
The small town is remarkable for its Mediterranean atmosphere and Baroque houses. Quaint cafés, souvenir shops and art galleries line the narrow streets where studios and workshops have been home to generations of Hungarian artists since the early 20th century.
During the 4-hour tour you will have the opportunity to visit the famous Marzipan Museum, a colorful exhibit made entirely out of marzipan. Pause to enjoy a cup of coffee and slice of cake, before exploring the gift shops and craft stores.
In the summer you can return to Budapest on a Danube boat cruise. You will be picked up at the dock in Budapest and transferred back to your hotel.
